Dear ZAGBA Members and Friends,
As the weather is getting warmer and we are thinking ahead to summer
activities, your ZAGBA Board has been planning the
Annual ZAGBA picnic, this year with a twist!
The ZAGBA picnic will be on Saturday, July 12th at Pinewood Lodge
Campground in Plymouth, MA.
AND this year, we are adding optional tent-camping the night BEFORE
and AFTER the picnic. But we need to make camping reservations NOW!
As usual, we look forward to spending a fun day participating in outdoor
activities and eating community food and grilling at the picnic on
Saturday. There are many activities as well as picnic tables and
grills/fire rings.
"The campground is located on a 50-acre fresh water lake great for bass
fishing, swimming, and boating. The camp store has bait and tackle as
well as rental rowboats and canoes. The store has many items available for
your convenience including wood, ice, and groceries. They also have many
camping supplies that you may have forgotten at home. They have modern
restroom facilities with hot showers and laundry, a security patrol for
your peace of mind. They also have a snack bar and lounge if you don't
feel like cooking at all. You may decide to join in some of the activities
and events at the park or just relax around your campfire."
A number of families have already committed to the 2-night tent-camping on
Friday and Saturday nights (July 11th and 12th) and have started making
reservations for campsites. Campsites are being reserved quickly so if you
are interested in camping, you need to call the campsite individually
(from the information at the website link given below) and make your
reservations and pay your deposit. Our current reserved campsites are
located near the playground, if you would like to be closeby.
We will be asking for picnic RSVPs later as we get closer to the date.

2 adults : $36/day
Kids (5-12 yrs old) : $4/day

Bingo (friday night) 3. Air Hockey, can toss games etc tournaments
